I grew up all over Colorado, moving from town to town every few years, never staying in one place long enough to truly build lasting relationships. But through it all, my mom sparked a deep passion in me for photography. She would show me old pictures and tell me the stories behind them, helping me see the endless possibilities within a single photo. I learned to see beauty everywhere—from the vast landscapes around me to the subtle emotion in someone's eyes or the life and energy captured in a person’s movement.
I got my first camera when I was 15, and that’s when my love for photography really took off. My first subjects were my animals, and they taught me the patience and focus that the craft requires. At 17, I attended the photography program at Pickens Technical College, and by 23, I enrolled at the Art Institute of Colorado.
Now, I live in Gunnison, CO, where the landscapes are some of the most breathtaking in the country. Many of my photos are taken here in the heart of the Rockies, where I’ve had the privilege of capturing moments that leave people speechless. I travel throughout the region, seeking out those rare, "breathless" scenes, and I’m passionate about sharing those moments through my photos, so others can fall in love with the land as I have.
For me, it’s all about capturing those timeless, unforgettable moments. I take a hands-on approach with my clients, working closely with them to make sure I deliver exactly what they envision. This collaboration not only results in meaningful photos but also makes the process enjoyable—especially for kids. Playing around and having fun helps ease their nerves and makes the whole experience feel like a game.
